Session Volunteer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a volunteer to work as part of our team, delivering our impactful, accessible and diverse sessions for mums and their children. Our Harvey Girls Session Volunteer will have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young children and their parents.

They will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for young children and their parents to engage in a range of purposeful activities which support child development, bonding and school readiness.

The volunteer will work directly to support the session attendees as needed, and will ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and welcoming environment for young children and their parent/carer, building positive relationships with them
• Support the delivery of engaging activities that promote personal growth and development
• Provide guidance and support to parents as needed
• Participate in team meetings and training
• Adhere to organisational policies and procedures
• Support the planning and evaluation of our Harvey Girls Sessions
